Workshop Summary

When transitioning from traditional approaches to Agile development, testers are no longer handed the code after developers have finished working on it, rather, they are a crucial part of the same cross-functional team. In this workshop the new roles and responsibilities of testers are explained, as well as the new mindset adopted by the testers and the whole team. The day to day work of an Agile team throughout the iteration is discussed as well as different testing levels and the important aspect of automation.

The workshop includes interactive exercises and real life situations, covers the key factors for successful Agile testing implementation and provides important insights and best practices that can be implemented in your Agile teams.

2016 gehen wir nicht nur in die 3. Runde mit der SQL Server Konferenz – ein besonderes Highlight für uns – 2016 wird auch ein generelles Highlight für alle SQL Profis werden. Ein Produktlaunch steht an! Eine erste Preview des SQL Server 2016 wird für diesen Sommer erwartet.

Neue Features und Verbesserungen wie „Stretch Database“ oder „Always Encrypted“ sind auf der Microsoft Ignite im Mai angekündigt worden. Wir können davon ausgehen, dass das noch längst nicht alles sein wird…

Neben dem „Was gibt es Neues?“ und „Was sollte ich unbedingt wissen?“ werden wir auch in diesem Jahr wieder Partner vor Ort haben, die sich mit ihren Produkten und Ideen ergänzend einbringen, und natürlich die PASS Deutschland e.V. – die SQL Server Community, die ihre Erfahrungen gerne mit allen teilt.

In 2015 we are not only entering the 3rd round with the SQL Server Conference – a particular highlight for us – 2015 will also be a general highlight for all SQL professionals. A product launch is due! An initial preview of the SQL Server 2015 is expected this summer.

New features and improvements like the “Stretch Database” or “Always Encrypted” were announced at theMicrosoft Ignite in May. We can assume that that will not be all…

In addition to “What’s new?” and “What do I need to know?”, we will also have partners on site again this year, who will be introducing their products and ideas, as well as PASS Deutschland e.V., of course – the SQL Server Community who will be happy to share their experiences with everyone.
